Zimmerman's Domestic Violence Charge

by Ac Hampton

The man acquitted in the shooting and killing of Florida teen Treyvon Martin , George Zimmerman was arrested Monday afternoon outside of Orlando Florida for  domestic violence. His girlfriend Samantha Schiebe, whose house he was in, called the police on him and told them that he had pointed a gun to her head then barricaded himself inside her house.

“She was concerned for her safety, certainly from having the weapon pointed at her. She’s shaken up over this incident, like any of us would be.” according to The Guardian.com

The Seminole County Sheriff’s office later released recordings of two 911 calls made during the incident, which appear to be from Scheibe and Zimmerman.
In the first call a woman tells dispatchers: “I need police right now. He’s in my house breaking all my things because I asked him to leave. He has his frickin’ gun, breaking all of my stuff right now.”

Just even hearing that someone else is facing the same danger that Treyvon Martin faced is devastating and it makes me question our judicial system when it comes to letting criminal free. George Zimmerman was acquitted of the murder of Treyvon Martin meaning he can still carry guns.
On the other hand from inside the house, Zimmerman's story was “for lack of a better word, has gone crazy on me”

If George Zimmerman was just involved in a major case which left one dead by his firearm, why is he even able to have a gun? when will the law learn that they cannot give everyone the privilege to hold a firearm because everyone's emotions are not the same and most people with anger problems will first result to using their gun trying to resolve the problem.

Zimmerman’s volatile temperament stretches back to at least 2005, when he was ordered to attend anger management classes after allegedly attacking an undercover police officer according to Theguardian.com.

I just don't understand how someone with a record that stretches down to the floor can beat every case with little to no punishment. George Zimmerman needs to pay for his crimes just as well as everyone else and he may have gotten off the hook every time before but he need to receive a greater punishment for this crime.
